Overview

MojAI is a private AI-native workspace designed to organize projects, conversations and AI-assisted software workflows.

Problem

AI-assisted development can become fragmented when projects, conversations, settings and implementation context are spread across separate tools.

Implemented solution

The platform centralizes project creation, conversation management, protected dashboards and AI chat routing in a session-aware web application.

Key features

User registration
Login and logout
Session-aware dashboard
Project creation and management
Conversation management
Chat interface
Project settings
Protected routes
Authentication and session validation
Project CRUD
Ownership validation
Database persistence
AI chat routing

Target users / audience

AI-native software builders
Private project operators
Teams or individuals organizing multiple AI-assisted software workflows

Business value

Reduced fragmented workflows
Centralized data and operations
Safer role and ownership separation
Structured product foundation for continued product evolution

My role

Product analysis and requirements definition.
Architecture planning and AI-agent tasking.
Implementation supervision across frontend, backend, database and platform-specific surfaces.
Debugging, test planning, acceptance review, deployment preparation and iterative improvement.

AI-native development workflow

  1. 01

Requirements are converted into structured implementation tasks.

  2. 02

Codex and AI tools are used for code generation, investigation and refactoring.

  3. 03

Major tasks follow a READ → BACKUP → PATCH → VERIFY → TEST discipline.

  4. 04

Human review controls architecture, acceptance, security decisions and release readiness.

  5. 05

AI is used as an engineering accelerator, not as a substitute for validation.

Technical overview

Built around Next.js, TypeScript, React, Node.js, PostgreSQL, Prisma and REST APIs.

Message persistence and conversation workflows are treated as part of the product architecture and validation scope.

Key engineering challenges

Shared hosting could not reliably build Next.js because of worker/process limits, so a local-build and deployment workflow was used.

Testing and verification

Protected route behavior and session validation are part of the verification scope.

Product positioning

The implementation includes the capabilities presented in this case study and is designed for continued product evolution.
